A Gospel of Mark Fragments Found

The Christian Post wrote that professor Daniel B. Wallace of Dallas Theological Seminary said that a Gospel fragment found could be the oldest New Testament artifacts ever found.  This Fragment could date as far back to eyewitness times. This new fragment would predate P45(c.200-250) the oldest know fragment by 100 to 150 years, almost certainly placing it in the first century and making it the oldest of its kind, according to the professor.

Professor Daniel B. Wallace of Dallas presented his finding at UNC Chapel Hill on Feb. 1, 2012. Professor Wallace presented seven New Testament papyri. He believed that six of them were probably from the second century, and one the Gospel of Mark, probably from the first. The finding will be officially published next year.

Paul and the New Testament poll?

Question 1

You Not Feeling Me

I was at Church on Sunday and the minister said can I get an amen, You not hearing me now.  I coming close to some of you, I can feel it I just want you to know that there joy when you can shake this thing  off of you when you stand up and believe in him. I just want you to know -yea-  he can’t hold you back if you – yea- if you just accept my Lord, If you just believe in my Christ can you feel him -yea- does it make you want shout for joy.   And the people shouted for joy.  They shouted and they shouted the end was one big climax an explosion of joy.

But the seed of the message had fallen on rocky places,  they received the word with joy but it didn’t take root.    Because the words did not take root the joy lasted only a short time.  When trouble and persecution comes because of the word that landed in rocky places. Rocky places trust only in the things they can see.
The joy of rocky places only last when they hear the word and see the man in front they look past the spiritual word to look at the material man. That climax of joy that they experience on Sunday morning is gone on Monday.  Honey to know true joy you got go through something, you must stay in the word, trust the word and live the word. If you only hear it on Sunday and can’t live it on Monday then you are in the rocky place. It’s time for a change.

Nothing is to Hard

Nothing is to Hard

Jeremiah 32:1-2
1 This is the word the Lord spoke to Jeremiah in the tenth year Zedekiah was king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar. 2 At that time the army of the king of Babylon was surrounding Jerusalem. Jeremiah the prophet was under arrest in the courtyard of the guard, which was at the palace of the king of Judah.

My Kingdom is under siege and I’m under arrest in the courtyard of the guard by in the place of the king of Judah and my cousin come to me with a proposal. He said cousin I have a deal for you and you can’t refuse it.

Leviticus 25:25
25 If a person in your country becomes very poor and sells some land, then close relatives must come and buy it back.

Hanamel, Jeremiah cousin goes to Jeremiah who is under arrest and the army of Babylon is surrounding the city. Jeremiah cousin wants to get out of the country before Jerusalem falls and his property becomes worthless. Hanamel the cousin wants to sell the land before it becomes worthless. Jeremiah is already under a lot of pressure so the cousin add another thing. He knows that Jeremiah is a good man and follows the law. He knows that Jeremiah will buy the land even if the land will become useless. Hanamel wants to get over.

Before Hanamel came to Jeremiah, God came to Jeremiah and told him what to do.

Jeremiah 32:6-8
6While Jeremiah was in prison, he said, “The Lord spoke this word to me: 7 Your cousin Hanamel, son of your uncle Shallum, will come to you soon. Hanamel will say to you, ‘Jeremiah, you are my nearest relative, so buy my field near the town of Anathoth. It is your right and your duty to buy that field.’

8 “Then it happened just as the Lord had said. My cousin Hanamel came to me in the courtyard of the guard and said to me, ‘Buy for yourself my field near Anathoth in the land of Benjamin. It is your right and duty to buy it and own it.’ So I knew this was a message from the Lord.

Hanamel wanted to take advantage of Jeremiah I would even go as far to say he had evil intentions. Jeremiah had some doubts but he did what the lord asked. It not always easy to do what the Lord commands but no one even God has not told you that his way would be easy for you.

Jeremiah 32:24-25
24 “Look! The enemy has surrounded the city and has built roads to the top of the walls to capture it. Because of war, hunger, and terrible diseases, the city will be handed over to the Babylonians who are attacking it. You said this would happen, and now you see it is happening. 25 But now, Lord God, you tell me, ‘Buy the field with silver and call in witnesses.’ You tell me this while the Babylonian army is ready to capture the city.”

Jeremiah doubts become hope because Jeremiah knows that nothing is to hard for the Lord to do so he does what the Lord ask him to do and then Pray and praise him.

Jeremiah 32:16-19
16 “After I gave the record of ownership to Baruch son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord, 17 Oh, Lord God, you made the skies and the earth with your very great power. There is nothing too hard for you to do. 18 You show love and kindness to thousands of people, but you also bring punishment to children for their parents’ sins. Great and powerful God, your name is the Lord All-Powerful. 19 You plan and do great things. You see everything that people do, and you reward people for the way they live and for what they do.

The Lord answers Jeremiah prayer with a message of hope. If we do as the Lord commands then our message is of hope.

Jeremiah 32:26-27
26 Then the Lord spoke this word to Jeremiah: 27 “I am the Lord, the God of every person on the earth. Nothing is impossible for me.

Nothing is impossible for God.

The Kind of Woman I Have

The Kind of Woman I Have

The Woman God gave me is like this widow woman that God sent Elijah to for refuge.   Can you image being chase by a Godless woman named Jezebel, daughter of King Eth-Baal of the Zidonians.  A woman that wants you head she wants you dead because you spoke the truth and that’s another story.

In this story you are Elijah a prophet and a man on the run in need of refuge a safe place.  You a man of God and God tell you what to do.  God tells you to go to this widow woman, this nameless woman with a child and to ask her for a piece of bread and the land is in a time of famine.   When you arrive at Zarephath you see this woman that God has sent you to.

You go to the woman and ask her for a cup of water.   The woman turns away to get you a cup of water and as she walks away you say can you bring me a little piece of bread too.    Can you think what a woman today would say to you if you ask her for a piece of bread?   She probably say, “What!, I was kind enough to get you a glass of water and now you want a piece of bread too.  You better get you a job –Man!”  But.  “This nameless woman didn’t say that she said I have a little flour and olive oil I’m trying to get a little wood to make a fire to cook a little bread so my son and I can have our last meal and die from hunger.”

Elijah said go home cook you food but make me a small loft of bread first and cook something for you and your child.  Elijah told her that God will not let you run out of flour or oil until the day the Lord sends rain.

My woman is like this nameless woman of Zarephath in Sidon.  She is not proud, she trust God will provide and she will give her last bit.

God Knows

God Knows

God Knows –When I am far from God I can see your sins easier then I can see mines. I will talk about your sins and the thing you done but won’t mention mines. Not to me, not to you and not to God. When I am far from God I will tell the world what you done and how to change your life. The shame of my sins keeps me silent. But God Knows.

When I’m near God I go into my closet.  I close the door and my sins will become light I can see the truth about me.  The truth becomes sorrow an overburden pain.   Lord, Lord I cry.  Lord, Lord I moan.  When I’m near God he hears my cry and my life is changed.   My sorrow becomes joy.  My faith is stronger and my hope becomes real.   God Knows.

When I am far from God I blame you for my problems.  I blame the world for my problems.  I see the sins and only talk of them but do change the way I live.  I do not think about me.  I only see you.  When the world is watching I do what is right, I say what is right.  But when the world sleeps I do what I want.  I seek my desires.  God Knows.

When I am near God I change myself.  I am his consul.  I stand for him both day and night.  I don’t blame you.  I speak for him and he speaks through me.   You don’t see me but the spirit of God that lives in me.  Then you will know what I know that God knows.

“Why did you help evil people?”

Jehoshaphat king of Judah

Jehoshaphat  was king of Judah when Ahab was king of Israel.

Jehoshaphat listen to Ahab and join his cause.

Ahab did not love God and believed advisor that told him what  he wanted to hear.

Micaiah told Ahad he would die in the battle.

Jehoshaphat helped Ahab in-spite of Micaiah warning.

The King of Aram told his commanders not to fight anyone important or unimportant except Ahab.

Ahab tried to fool God by hiding and not wearing his royal robes.

Aram commanders chased Jehoshaphat.  Jehoshaphat cried out to the Lord and the Lord help him.

By chance an arrow was shot in the air and hit Ahab  between the pieces of his armor. You can’t hide.

Today good Kings are helping evil people.  They are not listening or waiting on the Lord.  But he knows their hearts.

Don’t let the Lord become angry with you. Don’t forget your calling.  Listen and be true to the word from God.

2 Chronicles 19

1 Jehoshaphat king of Judah came back safely to his palace in Jerusalem.2 Jehu son of Hanani, a seer, went out to meet him and said to the king, “Why did you help evil people? Why do you love those who hate the Lord? That is the reason the Lord is angry with you.3 But there is some good in you. You took the Asherah idols out of this country, and you have tried to obey God.”

Jehoshaphat Chooses Judges

4 Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem. He went out again to be with the people, from Beersheba to the mountains of Ephraim, and he turned them back to the Lord, the God of their ancestors.5Jehoshaphat appointed judges in all the land, in each of the strong, walled cities of Judah.6Jehoshaphat said to them, “Watch what you do, because you are not judging for people but for the Lord. He will be with you when you make a decision.7 Now let each of you fear the Lord. Watch what you do, because the Lord our God wants people to be fair. He wants all people to be treated the same, and he doesn’t want decisions influenced by money.”

8 And in Jerusalem Jehoshaphat appointed some of the Levites, priests, and leaders of Israelite families to be judges. They were to decide cases about the law of the Lord and settle problems between the people who lived in Jerusalem.9 Jehoshaphat commanded them, “You must always serve the Lord completely, and you must fear him.10 Your people living in the cities will bring you cases about killing, about the teachings, commands, rules, or some other law. In all these cases you must warn the people not to sin against the Lord. If you don’t, he will be angry with you and your people. But if you warn them, you won’t be guilty.

11 ”Amariah, the leading priest, will be over you in all cases about the Lord. Zebadiah son of Ishmael, a leader in the tribe of Judah, will be over you in all cases about the king. Also, the Levites will serve as officers for you. Have courage. May the Lord be with those who do what is right.”

Jehoshaphat was a king of Judah and a part of the royal line.

Matthew 1:7-8

7 Solomon was the father of Rehoboam.
Rehoboam was the father of Abijah.
Abijah was the father of Asa.
8 Asa was the father of Jehoshaphat.
Jehoshaphat was the father of Jehoram.
Jehoram was the ancestor of Uzziah.

Have You Lost Your Bible

Have You Lost Your Bible

because our ancestors did not obey the words of this book; they did not do all the things written for us to do.

2 Kings 22:8-14

The Book of the Teachings Is Found

 8 Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the royal secretary, “I’ve found the Book of the Teachings in the Temple of the Lord.” He gave it to Shaphan, who read it.

 9 Then Shaphan the royal secretary went to the king and reported to Josiah, “Your officers have paid out the money that was in the Temple of the Lord. They have given it to the workers and supervisors at the Temple.”10 Then Shaphan the royal secretary told the king, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read from the book to the king.

 11 When the king heard the words of the Book of the Teachings, he tore his clothes to show how upset he was.12 He gave orders to Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam son of Shaphan, Acbor son of Micaiah, Shaphan the royal secretary, and Asaiah the king’s servant. These were the orders:13 ”Go and ask the Lord about the words in the book that was found. Ask for me, for all the people, and for all Judah. The Lord’s anger is burning against us, because our ancestors did not obey the words of this book; they did not do all the things written for us to do.”

 14 So Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Acbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went to talk to Huldah the prophetess. She was the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, who took care of the king’s clothes. Huldah lived in Jerusalem, in the new area of the city.

Kings of the Bible — Hezekiah

Kings of the Bible — Hezekiah

Hezekiah became a King of Judah after his father died.

2 Kings 16:19-20 (New Century Version)

 19 The other things Ahaz did as king are written in the book of the history of the kings of Judah.20 Ahaz died and was buried with his ancestors in Jerusalem, and Ahaz’s son Hezekiah became king in his place.

Hezekiah became King

Hezekiah became King Hosea was in his third year as King of Israel.

Hezekiah was 25 years old when he became King.

He did what was right with the Lord.

His mother name was Abijah dauther of Zechariah.

He ruled 29 years in Jerusalem.

 2 Kings 16:

1 Hezekiah son of Ahaz king of Judah became king during the third year Hoshea son of Elah was king of Israel.2 Hezekiah was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he ruled twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah daughter of Zechariah.3 Hezekiah did what the Lord said was right, just as his ancestor David had done.

He did what was right.

He remove the places were gods were worshiped.

He smashed idols.

2 King 18:

3 Hezekiah did what the Lord said was right, just as his ancestor David had done.4 He removed the places where gods were worshiped. He smashed the stone pillars and cut down the Asherah idols. Also the Israelites had been burning incense to Nehushtan, the bronze snake Moses had made. But Hezekiah broke it into pieces.

 He was Loyal to the Lord

Trusted God

Did not stop following Him

Obey Gods commands

2 King 18:

5 Hezekiah trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him.6 Hezekiah was loyal to the Lord and did not stop following him; he obeyed the commands the Lord had given Moses.

And the Lord was with Hezekiah

2 King 18:

He had much success

defeated his enemies with the help of the lord

7 And the Lord was with Hezekiah, so he had success in everything he did. He turned against the king of Assyria and stopped serving him.8 Hezekiah defeated the Philistines all the way to Gaza and its borders, including the watchtowers and the strong, walled cities.

Trust God and have mucj success destory the false Idols in your Kingdom!  Don’t be a slave to sin.

Jesus Is like Melchizedek

Hebrew 7:16 He was not made a priest by human rules and laws but through the power of his life.

Hebrew 7

11 The people were given the law concerning the system of priests from the tribe of Levi, but they could not be made perfect through that system. So there was a need for another priest to come, a priest like Melchizedek, not Aaron. 12 And when a different kind of priest comes, the law must be changed, too.13 We are saying these things about Christ, who belonged to a different tribe. No one from that tribe ever served as a priest at the altar.14 It is clear that our Lord came from the tribe of Judah, and Moses said nothing about priests belonging to that tribe.

Jesus Is like Melchizedek

15 And this becomes even more clear when we see that another priest comes who is like Melchizedek. 16 He was not made a priest by human rules and laws but through the power of his life, which continues forever. 17 It is said about him, ”You are a priest forever, a priest like Melchizedek.” — Psalm 110:4

18 The old rule is now set aside, because it was weak and useless.19 The law of Moses could not make anything perfect. But now a better hope has been given to us, and with this hope we can come near to God.20 It is important that God did this with an oath. Others became priests without an oath, 21 but Christ became a priest with God’s oath. God said:
“The Lord has made a promise
and will not change his mind.
‘You are a priest forever.’” — Psalm 110:4
22 This means that Jesus is the guarantee of a better agreement from God to his people.

Men of the Bible — Demetrius

Men of the Bible — Demetrius

In Acts 19:24-38  a man name Demetrius is mentioned because he cause much trouble for Paul.  Demetrius was a business man that sold little silver models that looked like the temple of the goddess Artemis.  He made a lot of money selling these little silver models.  Paul  was visiting through Ephesus and was preaching the word.   Paul told people that gods made by human hands are not real.  Makes a lot of sense to me and I guess it made a lot of sense to a lot of people of that time.

Many products today make claim to false promises they can’t keep.   Demetrius didn’t even believe in his own product.  He accused Paul of making his God unimportant and destroying her greatness .  He caused a lot of confusion among the people and wanted to bring charges against Paul.

I have a  God that no man can destroy.   My God is real and He provide all my needs.   So be quit and think before you accuse or buy. Is this thing real.

In 3 John 1:12 Demetrius is well regarded by John and by everyone that knew him.  This Demetrius spoke the truth.  This is the kind of man we should be.  Men that speaks the truth.

3 John 1:
11 My dear friend, do not follow what is bad; follow what is good. The one who does good belongs to God. But the one who does evil has never known God.
12 Everyone says good things about Demetrius, and the truth agrees with what they say. We also speak well of him, and you know what we say is true.

Zechariah 12: 1-9

Jerusalem Will Be Saved

 1 This message is the word of the Lord to Israel. This is what the Lord says, who stretched out the skies, and laid the foundations of the earth, and put the human spirit within:2 ”I will make Jerusalem like a cup of poison to the nations around her. They will come and attack Jerusalem and Judah.3 One day all the nations on earth will come together to attack Jerusalem, but I will make it like a heavy rock; anyone who tries to move it will get hurt.4 At that time I will confuse every horse and cause its rider to go crazy,” says the Lord. “I will watch over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the enemies.5 Then the leaders of Judah will say to themselves, ‘The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the Lord All-Powerful is their God.’

 6 ”At that time I will make the leaders of Judah like a fire burning a stack of wood or like a fire burning straw. They will destroy all the people around them left and right. But the people of Jerusalem will remain safe.

 7 ”The Lord will save the homes of Judah first so that the honor given to David’s family and to the people of Jerusalem won’t be greater than the honor given to Judah.8 At that time the Lord will protect the people in Jerusalem. Then even the weakest of them will be strong like David. And the family of David will be like God, like an angel of the Lord in front of them.9 At that time I will go to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.

When I read this I think about my family, my Home and the Holy Spirit that God has put within the body.  My Kingdom is Judah and my Home is Jerusalem and the nations on earth are the systems and influences of the world that come to destroy my Family and my Home.    My Kingdom, my Home will serve the living God and I will teach my Kingdom how to serve God will as in Joshua 24: 15 But if you don’t want to serve the Lord, you must choose for yourselves today whom you will serve. You may serve the gods that your ancestors worshiped when they lived on the other side of the Euphrates River, or you may serve the gods of the Amorites who lived in this land. As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”  You have a choice but  I will teach, preach and serve God will.

Because my House, My Jerusalem will be strong in the word a heavy rock that cannot be moved from the service of the will of God the world will be confused by my cause and the rider will go crazy because I will hold on to every word.

I will make leaders strong in the word.  They will destroy the people of the world and the people of my Home will remain safe.  The Lord saves and protects my Kingdom.  Even the weakest of my people will be strong like David and the family of the King will be like God they will be like the angel of the Lord in front of them.   The Lord will destroy the nation of the earth that will attack Jerusalem.

Motor City Kings

Do you Known Him!

Do you Know Him!

Or have you just heard of him.

Job 33: 1-11

1 “Now, Job, listen to my words.
Pay attention to everything I say.
2 I open my mouth
and am ready to speak.
3 My words come from an honest heart,
and I am sincere in saying what I know.
4 The Spirit of God created me,
and the breath of the Almighty gave me life.
5 Answer me if you can;
get yourself ready and stand before me.
6 I am just like you before God;
I too am made out of clay.
7 Don’t be afraid of me;
I will not be hard on you.

8 “But I heard what you have said;
I heard every word.
9 You said, ‘I am pure and without sin;
I am innocent and free from guilt.
10 But God has found fault with me;
he considers me his enemy.
11 He locks my feet in chains
and closely watches everywhere I go.’

God is Greater than we.

Job 33:12-13

12 “But I tell you, you are not right in saying this,
because God is greater than we are.
13 Why do you accuse God
of not answering anyone?

Job 33:23-33

23 “But there may be an angel to speak for him,
one out of a thousand, who will tell him what to do.
24 The angel will beg for mercy and say:
‘Save him from death.
I have found a way to pay for his life.’
25 Then his body is made new like a child’s.
It will return to the way it was when he was young.
26 That person will pray to God, and God will listen to him.
He will see God’s face and will shout with happiness.
And God will set things right for him again.

I did not receive the punishment
27 Then he will say to others,
‘I sinned and twisted what was right,
but I did not receive the punishment I should have received.
28 God bought my life back from death,
and I will continue to enjoy life.’

29 “God does all these things to a person
two or even three times
30 so he won’t die as punishment for his sins
and so he may still enjoy life.

31 “Job, pay attention and listen to me;
be quiet, and I will speak.
32 If you have anything to say, answer me;
speak up, because I want to prove you right.
33 But if you have nothing to say, then listen to me;
be quiet, and I will teach you wisdom.”

God is Fair

Job 34:5-20

5 “Job says, ‘I am not guilty,
and God has refused me a fair trial.
6 Instead of getting a fair trial,
I am called a liar.
I have been seriously hurt,
even though I have not sinned.’
7 There is no other man like Job;
he takes insults as if he were drinking water.
8 He keeps company with those who do evil
and spends time with wicked men,
9 because he says, ‘It is no use
to try to please God.’

10 “So listen to me, you who can understand.
God can never do wrong!
It is impossible for the Almighty to do evil.
11 God pays people back for what they have done
and gives them what their actions deserve.
12 Truly God will never do wrong;
the Almighty will never twist what is right.
13 No one chose God to rule over the earth
or put him in charge of the whole world.
14 If God should decide
to take away life and breath,
15 then everyone would die together
and turn back into dust.

16 “If you can understand, hear this;
listen to what I have to say.
17 Can anyone govern who hates what is right?
How can you blame God who is both fair and powerful?
18 God is the one who says to kings, ‘You are worthless,’
or to important people, ‘You are evil.’
19 He is not nicer to princes than other people,
nor kinder to rich people than poor people,
because he made them all with his own hands.
20 They can die in a moment, in the middle of the night.
They are struck down, and then they pass away;
powerful people die without help.

Job 34:31-37

31 “But suppose someone says to God,
‘I am guilty, but I will not sin anymore.
32 Teach me what I cannot see.
If I have done wrong, I will not do it again.’
33 So, Job, should God reward you as you want
when you refuse to change?
You must decide, not I,
so tell me what you know.

34 “Those who understand speak,
and the wise who hear me say,
35 ‘Job speaks without knowing what is true;
his words show he does not understand.’
36 I wish Job would be tested completely,
because he answered like an evil man!
37 Job now adds to his sin by turning against God.
He claps his hands in protest,
speaking more and more against God.”

Job 35: 1-8

1 Then Elihu said:
2 “Do you think this is fair?
You say, ‘God will show that I am right,’
3 but you also ask, ‘What’s the use?
I don’t gain anything by not sinning.’

4 “I will answer you
and your friends who are with you.
5 Look up at the sky
and see the clouds so high above you.
6 If you sin, it does nothing to God;
even if your sins are many, they do nothing to him.
7 If you are good, you give nothing to God;
he receives nothing from your hand.
8 Your evil ways only hurt others like yourself,
and the good you do only helps other human beings.

Job 35:13-16

13 God does not listen to their useless begging;
the Almighty pays no attention to them.
14 He will listen to you even less
when you say that you do not see him,
that your case is before him,
that you must wait for him,
15 that his anger never punishes,
and that he doesn’t notice evil.
16 So Job is only speaking nonsense,
saying many words without knowing what is true.”

Job 36: 5-12

5 “God is powerful, but he does not hate people;
he is powerful and sure of what he wants to do.
6 He will not keep evil people alive,
but he gives the poor their rights.
7 He always watches over those who do right;
he sets them on thrones with kings
and they are honored forever.
8 If people are bound in chains,
or if trouble, like ropes, ties them up,
9 God tells them what they have done,
that they have sinned in their pride.
10 God makes them listen to his warning
and commands them to change from doing evil.
11 If they obey and serve him,
the rest of their lives will be successful,
and the rest of their years will be happy.
12 But if they do not listen,
they will die by the sword,
and they will die without knowing why.

Job 36:15-26

15 But God saves those who suffer through their suffering;
he gets them to listen through their pain.

16 “God is gently calling you from the jaws of trouble
to an open place of freedom
where he has set your table full of the best food.
17 But now you are being punished like the wicked;
you are getting justice.
18 Be careful! Don’t be led away from God by riches;
don’t let much money turn you away.
19 Neither your wealth nor all your great strength
will keep you out of trouble.
20 Don’t wish for the night
when people are taken from their homes.
21 Be careful not to turn to evil,
which you seem to want more than suffering.

22 “God is great and powerful;
no other teacher is like him.
23 No one has planned his ways for him;
no one can say to God, ‘You have done wrong.’
24 Remember to praise his work,
about which people have sung.
25 Everybody has seen it;
people look at it from far off.
26 God is so great, greater than we can understand!
No one knows how old he is.

Job 37:14-18

14 “Job, listen to this:
Stop and notice God’s miracles.
15 Do you know how God controls the clouds
and makes his lightning flash?
16 Do you know how the clouds hang in the sky?
Do you know the miracles of God, who knows everything?
17 You suffer in your clothes
when the land is silenced by the hot, south wind.
18 You cannot stretch out the sky like God
and make it look as hard as polished bronze.

Be strong like a man!

Job 38:1-7

1 Then the Lord answered Job from the storm. He said:
2 “Who is this that makes my purpose unclear
by saying things that are not true?
3 Be strong like a man!
I will ask you questions,
and you must answer me.
4 Where were you when I made the earth’s foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
5 Who marked off how big it should be? Surely you know!
Who stretched a ruler across it?
6 What were the earth’s foundations set on,
or who put its cornerstone in place
7 while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels shouted with joy?

Job 33-26

26 That person will pray to God, and God will listen to him.
He will see God’s face and will shout with happiness.
And God will set things right for him again.

I recently installed a version of User Messages a plugin I felt was pretty good and believe it would help my site to grow.  I recently received a notice telling me that User Message had gone commerical and the newest version was available. In the same sentence  it say try this and get the bug fixes and new features.

I am happy they they have found a way to fund development of a commercial version of the plugin.

I am extremely disappointed thet they are not going to fix the bugs in the free version and add the new features.   I am disappointed that they went commercial without even a warning or an updated version of free software brfor doing so.  Just think maybe you donated to this free version, and now! Now they try and treat you asif you were unimportant.

 15 Say these things and encourage the people and tell them what is wrong in their lives, with all authority. Do not let anyone treat you as if you were unimportant.

The World Health Organization’s ranking

The World Health Organization’s ranking
of the world’s health systems.

“It is startling to see the U.S. falling even farther behind on this crucial indicator of health system performance,” said Commonwealth Fund Senior Vice President Cathy Schoen. “By focusing on deaths amenable to health care, Nolte and McKee strip out factors such as population and lifestyle differences that are often cited in response to international comparisons showing the U.S. lagging in health outcomes. The fact that other countries are reducing these preventable deaths more rapidly, yet spending far less, indicates that policy, goals, and efforts to improve health systems make a difference”.

The reason God came from nowhere by Dr. Shadrach Meshach Lockridge

“The reason God came from nowhere, was there was nowhere for Him to come from. And coming from nowhere, He stood on nothing for there was nowhere for Him to stand. And standing on nothing, He reached out where there was nowhere to reach and caught something where there was nothing to catch, and hung something on nothing, and told it to stay there.”

MY KING IS: The King of the Jews – that’s a racial King. The King of Israel – that’s a national King; The King of Glory; the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The heavens declare the glory of God, the firmament shows His handiwork.
My King is… A sovereign King. No means of measure can define His limitless Love! No far-reaching telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shortest supply! No barrier can hinder Him from pouring out His blessings!

Get the Flash Player to see the wordTube Media Player.

He’s enduringly strong!… He’s entirely sincere! He’s imperially powerful! He’s impartially merciful! He’s the greatest phenomenon that has ever crossed the horizon of this world!

He’s God’s Son… The sinner’s savior! The centerpiece of civilization! He stands in the solitude of Himself!

He’s august and unique!… He’s unparalleled! He’s unprecedented! He is the loftiest idea in literature. He’s the highest personality in philosophy. He’s the supreme problem in higher criticism. He’s the fundamental doctrine of true theology! He’s the core necessity for spiritual religion. He’s the miracle of the ages! He’s the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him!

He’s the only one qualified to be an all-sufficient Savior!… He supplies strength for the weak. He’s available for the tempted and tried. He sympathizes and He saves. He strengthens and sustains. He guards and guides. He heals the sick. He cleansed the lepers. He forgives sinners. He discharges debtors. He delivers the captives. He defends the feeble. He blesses the young. He serves the unfortunate. He regards the aged. He rewards the diligent and beautifies the meek.

My King is the key to knowledge: The wellspring of wisdom; the doorway of deliverance; the pathway of peace; the roadway of righteousness; the highway of holiness, and the gateway of glory!

His office is manifold: His promise is sure. His light is matchless. His goodness is limitless. His mercy is everlasting. His reign is Righteous. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.

I wish I could describe Him for you, but He’s indescribable! He’s Incomprehensible! He’s invincible! He’s Irresistible!

You can’t get Him out of your mind or off your hands! You can’t out-live Him and you can’t live without Him! The Pharisees couldn’t stand Him, but they found out they couldn’t stop Him. Pilate couldn’t find any fault in Him. The witnesses couldn’t agree. Herod couldn’t kill Him. Death couldn’t handle Him, and the grave couldn’t hold Him!

That’s my King, That’s my King, That’s my King, and He’s the kingdom and the power and the glory – Forever! AMEN!!! I wonder…do you know Him? – Rev. SM Lockridge

From King’s Morning

The King ‘s Morning

The King ’s Morning

On most mornings  I wake at 3:30 AM .  I don’t know why ,  but I do.  Sometimes I try to go back to sleep ,  but I CAN’T.  I toss and turn and I plead ,  please let me sleep .     Please Lord ,  let me sleep.  But a voice comes back Son it’s time to study, it’s time to read, it’s time to pray.  So I tell myself that I’m going to read for 15 minutes  and pray for a minute but it ends  up much longer and before I know it, it’s 5:30 am.

The window is open and I hear the birds singing and I feel at peace.  Thank you for the birds.  My sons and wife will be waking soon to prepare for school and work.  I think of my mother and the mornings when she would prepare breakfasts for me and my father and brothers.  Thank you for my mother my brothers, my father thank you.

I take the bacon and links out of the fridge and place in a frying pan two pieces of bacon for me, one piece for the wife, one piece for the little son and four links for the bigger son.   As the bacon and links are frying in the pan a sweet savory smell fills the house.  Thank you Lord for my children, for my wife, thank you for walking with me for putting you r  arms around my family .  Please Lord accept me this day and forgive me of my sins.

I put the coffee on and the nutty and strong aroma mixes with  the sweet savory smell of the meat and I say Thank You inside my head but it’s so loud it scares me .  But I quickly calm down.  I am totally consumed in fire now  by  stirring grits, grating cheese, scrambling eggs.

The wife and children come down fix their plates and say grace, eat and then off to work and school. Thank you Lord one more time!

The wife and children are off .  It’s time for me to prepare for my day.  I run upstairs and start water in tub. I go to bedroom and take a suit and shirt out of closet, under clothes out of dresser drawer  and lay them on the bed. Please Lord prepare  me for this day.

I run off to bath room to turn water off in tub.   I sit in the tub and with a soapy rag and begin to wash .  Please Lord Wash away my sins .  Let me not be greedy this day .  Help me to understand .  Let me be honest in my affairs .  Help me to recognize your signs and will.    May my actions be pleasing to you .  Let men judge me by your word and I them.  I dedicate this day to you I am fully devoted to your will and your truth.  I will obey your laws, I will seek your knowledge and understanding .  I will ask for forgiveness .  I will praise your Holy Name .  I th ank you for your son and his gift. He gave his life intentionally and willingly  for me and had he not I would be sentence d  to death by the law.   His death and resurrection fulfilled the law .  My acceptance of him as my Lord and Savior renewed  my spirit and made me  immune  to death by the law ,  but grants me everlasting life by my Savior Grace.   Thanks be to you for this Day.
